have both copies in hardback, but looking at the size of them, might end up getting them for my kindle.

Hi Parrish Lantern, I am reading 1Q84 on my Kindle and it is a pleasure, I would have a difficult time holding or carrying such a large book around.
By the way I am 14% of the way on Kindle which is approximately 124 pages and I love it so far.
Thank-you for visiting my blog, on my way to yours :)

I'm just finishing book #1. First two books has been published in Serbian in December last year but I didn't want to start reading before translating last part. Imagine that torture to wait 10 months to end the story?!?
Anyway it's great and quite handy for carrying :)
So strange knowing that we read the same thing in the same time in different languages :)
Cheers!

Hi Milan :)
I am 2/3 into the first part and love it.
Here in the States it is published in 1 big book, which seems to be a problem for many, to big. So, like me they use Kindle or Nook too read this great book.

Yes I can imagine reading book 2 and waiting 10month to read the end...to long a period to be separated from the story.

As a matter of fact I am going back to read and finish book 1, can't wait to get to book 2 :)

Cheers to you to :))

Madeleine, such a lovely look you have going on here! Very fresh! (This is one of my very favorite backgrounds!) I love the Murakami, and it's nice to have on an e-reader so it's easier to hold. I've just finished Book One, so I hope to talk about it with you when we finish Book Three.
